California is a unique state as it has both the snow covered mountains and the beautiful sandy beaches. The outdoors of California is a paradise in itself. Having been born and spent the majority of my life in this sunny state, I have experienced the glory of skiing the many ski areas of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, windsurfed the windy locations in the Bay, along the coast and the many lakes, surfed the gentle and not-so-gentle waves of Southern California, rock climbed a number of routes one can find at Joshua Tree, and watched the amazing sunsets from the desert and the beach.
It’s hard to get bored in California, considering there are so many places I’ve yet to explore. But I’m working on it.
